Where in the World? --Greetings Class
Greetings Class, By the time you read this I should be a father! I miss you all dearly, but I do believe I will be in good company.
Please go to http://www.learn2type.com/ to start today by practicing your typing skills, This will be a daily routine. Do 4 tests and give the teacher the average. Once again make sure you are using proper typing technique and posture.
After you have finished and given the teacher your scores I would like you to practice your web skills just a little bit. Here is a very simple scavenger hunt. I want you to see who can finish first, second and third.

DIRECTIONS: In which part of the world do some animals live, what do they eat, and how long to do they live? Look at the list of animals below. Some will be familiar to you, and others will not. Use the Internet to find where these animals live, etc. To help you, we've provided you with the URL address for a Web site where you will find some of the information you need. You might need to wander around the Web a bit to find the information you need about each animal. Write the name of the country or continent where you find each animal, what kind of food they eat, and how long do they usually live. WHERE IN THE WORLD?

SETTING: A prison cell with a dirt floor, stone walls, no window but a skylight very high up in the ceiling; no furniture except for a mattress
